Provider Connections
Provider Connections is contracted by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Bureau of Early Intervention to credential, enroll, and provide technical support to Early Intervention (EI) providers interested in the credentialing and enrollment process.
The mission of Provider Connections is to ensure that professionals working in the Illinois EI System possess appropriate qualifications, enhance their professional growth, and strengthen their understanding of children ages birth to 3 with special needs.
Early Intervention Technical Assistance and Monitoring
The Early Intervention Monitoring Program, provided by the Vander Weele Group, LLC. and funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Bureau of Early Intervention, is designed to improve compliance with state and federal regulations in the delivery of Early Intervention services; review the provision of direct services, billing procedures, and filing of required documentation; check all Child and Family Connections (CFC) offices and credentialed/enrolled service providers; Assist families, CFC offices and Early Intervention service providers in addressing issues and resolving conflicts; and safeguard the rights of families.
Early Intervention Training Program
The Early Intervention Training Program at the University of Illinois provides training opportunities for early intervention professionals in Illinois. Funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Early Intervention, their mission is to develop a system that is regionalized, responsive and reflective of best practice in the field of early intervention in Illinois while promoting growth, service and belonging.
Early Intervention Clearinghouse
The Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Clearinghouse identifies and collects research-based and best-practice early intervention information to share with families.
IE Clearing House hosts a free lending library that consists of books, journals, and DVDs related to early childhood, parenting, and young children with special needs. You can use the electronic catalog to search the library collection.
